Giuseppe Pasetti | CFO Aquanexa

Graduated in Economics and Business, with a Master’s degree in Business Administration from NYU Leonard N. Ster School of Business, after starting his professional career in Investment Banking, joining Lazard, he then dealt with both Venture Capital and Private Equity, participating with increasing seniority in various companies and holding the role of advisor to the companies in which he invested.

In 2012 he founded a company that mainly deals with consultancy in the field of extraordinary transactions and management of some ‘project’ corporate activities. In this capacity, he holds the role of CFO of various companies operating in sectors ranging from Film Production and Distribution to the Space Economy and the role of CEO for a group operating in the production of electricity from renewable sources (Biogas) acquired by a2a S.p.A.Since 2023 he has held the position of Group CFO of Aquanexa Srl.

Luca Berardi | Innovation Manager Aquanexa 

With a solid experience in positions of responsibility at leading companies in the water and environmental sector, he has developed advanced skills in the management of complex projects and in the adoption of innovative solutions for the optimization of water resources. It is particularly oriented towards innovation, sustainability and environmental protection, with a strong focus on the integration of advanced technologies to improve the efficiency and management of water resources in a responsible and environmentally friendly way.

He has a strong passion for innovative technology, convinced that it represents a fundamental tool to respect and preserve the environment that surrounds us.

Filippo Di Marco – Italia | Strategic Planning Director and Commercial Director Municipal Market Aquanexa

Hydraulic engineer, he has gained significant experience in the water and environmental sector, holding roles of increasing responsibility as sales director in leading international companies (Veolia, Suez), which have allowed him to develop in-depth skills in commercial relations, in the strategic development of markets and in the implementation of innovative solutions for the sustainable management of water resources.

Strong focus on innovation and business growth, with a focus on sustainability and process optimization to ensure efficient use of water resources.

Nicola Ruggiero – Italia | CEO Pipecare and Business Development Manager Aquanexa

Telecommunications engineer for over 20 years in top roles as CEO of large Italian and foreign industrial groups. He has served as General Manager of listed companies such as Leadcom Integrated Solutions. He has developed projects for large infrastructures in the EMEA area, acquiring relationships and skills in the public and private sectors.

He is a member of the board of Anitec Assinform where he leads the work on network infrastructures and mission critical networks. Since 2017 he has founded Pipecare to innovate and digitize the water sector with valuable technologies and skills.

Carmelo Puglia | CTO and Digital Platforms Business Unit Director, Aquanexa

Graduated in Civil Engineering, he began his career as an expert in the development of IT solutions and data management systems for the Utility sector, founding GEST s.r.l. in 2000, a reference company in the development of integrated platforms for the collection and management of data in the water and gas sectors. He has developed a path that combines deep technical knowledge with high-level managerial skills, leading Smart Metering and IoT projects for advanced monitoring of water networks and collaborating with the main national water managers.

In addition, he has held positions as Chairman and CEO in consortia and international companies, collaborating with leading multinationals in the Utilities sector. Solid technical preparation, innovation skills and an entrepreneurial vision oriented towards the digitization of the water cycle are the hallmarks of his career.

Fabio Giannotta | Human Resources & Organization Officer, Aquanexa

Graduated in Energy Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Fabio Giannotta has built his career at the intersection of management consulting, organizational development, and human resources. After his experience at Business Integration Partners, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Snam and later at Renovit, where he led the People & Organization function from the company’s start-up phase, defining the HR strategy of a rapidly growing group developed through acquisitions and operating across multiple companies and locations.

Throughout his career, he has gained extensive expertise in organizational transformation, organizational design and development, change management, coaching, post-merger integration, industrial relations, and the digitalization of HR processes.

At Aquanexa, he is responsible for organizational development and people strategy, supporting the Group’s growth through modern organizational models focused on performance, innovation, and employee engagement.

Giorgio Fujani | CEO IDEA and Data Measuring & IoT Business Unit Director, Aquanexa

Graduated in Management Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Giorgio Fujani has more than ten years of experience managing complex projects in the utilities sector, with particular expertise in smart metering, network digitalization, and process transformation.

Before joining Aquanexa, he held management positions at A2A and Italgas, where he served as Head of the Metering Department and Project Manager for the new Italgas Smart Meter program, overseeing nationally significant investment initiatives and the development of metering systems serving millions of users.

At Aquanexa, he leads the Data Measuring & IoT Business Unit, overseeing projects focused on smart metering, IoT sensing technologies, SCADA and remote control systems, advanced software solutions, and data management platforms for the integrated water service. His experience combines strong technological expertise, governance capabilities, and a strategic vision for the digital transformation of critical infrastructure.

David D’Ambrosio | Network Engineering Business Unit Director, Aquanexa

Born in 1974, civil and environmental engineer, he founded his own engineering company in the infrastructure field immediately after graduating, consolidating his experience on large road projects and specializing in the management of underground services, topography and hydraulics.

After an MBA at the Politecnico di Milano and thanks to the experience and passion he has gained over the years for the integrated water cycle, in 2017 he founded the company Datek22, to provide services to water management bodies. In just a few years, Datek22 became a leader in the field of computerization of aqueduct and sewerage networks, leak detection, television inspections and hydraulic modeling.

Enrico Di Rubba | Infrastructures & Plants Business Unit Director, Aquanexa

He has always worked in the field of integrated water service: in the nineties the experience in the family business, La Biodepuratrice S.p.A., allowed him to acquire the skills that proved decisive when, in 1999, the Anglo-American group Severn Trent chose him as CEO of its subsidiaries and subsequently of the Italian holding company.

In 2013 he decided to bet on TEC.AM, leading the company on a path that has seen it grow significantly in terms of economic result, compliance, technical capacity and positioning on the national drinking water and wastewater treatment market.

His approach to work, characterized by attention to detail and the willingness to get involved, allows him to combine strategic vision with operational efficiency, obtaining concrete results and constant process optimization.

Angelo Giotta | Executive Director Puglia Engineering

With over twenty years of experience in the management and maintenance of water and wastewater systems, Angelo Giotta leads Puglia Engineering with a pragmatic and technologically advanced approach. Specialized in the planning and organization of construction sites, he coordinates services to companies operating in the infrastructure and technological networks sector, collaborating with large companies such as Acquedotto Pugliese, Acea and other operators.

It believes in the integration of experience and innovation, combining traditional methodologies with cutting-edge tools such as drones, 3D scanners and digital twins, to ensure efficiency, sustainability and operational quality in water and environmental services.

Roberto Lucifero – Italia | CEO Dinamica Project

His work began by taking over the family business. Curiosity and passion have allowed him to develop knowledge of new technologies for sewage and water pipe rehabilitation interventions (Relining).

As Legal Representative and Technical Director, he has followed construction sites and designed works for public and non-public companies. His charisma and thirty years of experience have meant that Dinamica Project, today, is one of the leading Italian companies in the Relining sector.

Gianluca Cavaliere – Italia | CEO Abitat SIT

Born in 1974, he graduated from IUAV in Venice in Geographic Information Systems and subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in S.I.T. and Remote Sensing.

Certified Project Manager, responsible and coordinator of Research, Development and Innovation projects, CEO of Abitat S.I.T. with active experience in consulting activities on large projects of the managing bodies, design of high-profile GIS and WEB-GIS systems, lecturer at Public and Private Bodies on the use of GIS technology.

Luigi Barrotta – Italia | CEO T&A

An electronics expert, he has always worked in the aqueduct sector. The first sole proprietorship, Teleimpianti di Barrotta Luigi, was followed in the 90s by the establishment of T.&A. srl, engaged in the design, construction and assistance of remote control systems serving the water cycle.
